Creigh Deeds

Senator Creigh Deeds was born in Richmond, Virginia and received a Bachelor’s degree from Concord College as well as a JD from Wake Forest University. Deeds is a lawyer in private practice in Bath County, where he lives with his wife Siobhan. His career in public service began when he was elected to serve as Bath County’s Commonwealth Attorney. He was later elected to the House of Delegates, where he served for 10 years before being elected to the State Senate in 2001.
