Born in the Ozarks, Elizabeth Alcorn’s family moved to Virginia when she was young. Elizabeth began her college education at Piedmont Virginia Community College and went on to graduate from the UVA Medical College of Dentistry. She opened up her first dental practice in Stephen’s City before moving the Charlottesville in 2000. She has served on numerous boards including the Charlottesville Free Clinic, Head Start, Donated Dental Program, and the International Rescue Committee. Today she owns a small farm with her husband in Dyke, Virginia.
