Who We Are

Mason Manley

Hailing from the north of England, Mason moved across the pond in 2019 to attend the University of Richmond where he studied Environmental Studies and led the on-campus environmental advocacy group, GreenUR. During his undergraduate career, Mason worked in community engagement at the James River Association before spending a summer with Bridging The Gap in Virginia, administering a free solar installation training program for formerly incarcerated and otherwise marginalized groups. Most recently, Mason worked as an organizer at the Chesapeake Climate Action Network. As Clean Virginia’s Field Manager, he will focus on grassroots organizing and defending progress towards a clean, affordable energy transition in the state. When he’s not busy fighting new gas plant infrastructure, Mason can be found in the gym or traveling.
